Anne Dennis MA, LMFT discovered her passion and interest for Marriage and Family Therapy while studying at the University of San Diego. The passion drove her to further studies at Phillips Graduate Institute in Los Angeles, California where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Psychology and focused her studies on comparing various treatment modalities for Postpartum Depression. Further deepening her experience and knowledge in Postpartum Depression continued studies in Maternal Depression and Disrupted Attachment and Prenatal Mood Disorders, Components of Care-County of Los Angeles-Department of Public Health Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Program. In addition to treating women with Prenatal and Postpartum Depression Ms. Dennis clinical training includes treating individuals with Mood Disorders including Major Depression and Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Anxiety Disorder and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Ms. Dennis’ Clinical experience also includes treating children diagnosed on the spectrum of Attachment Disorders. She is a member of Postpartum Support International (PSI), The California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT). Ms Dennis has authored articles describing Postpartum Depression and Treatment Models.
